Meeting to demo presentation of Gate Sentry 17 September 2026, 2pm or 7pm

Gate Sentry

We are initiating a four‑week consultation programme to gather residents’ views on adopting Gate Sentry, a modern access‑control solution designed for both guarded and unguarded gate entrances.

Resident feedback and participation are essential as we evaluate this upgrade to our community’s security infrastructure.

A residents’ meeting is currently being coordinated, where the system will be demonstrated in detail.

Our community currently relies on proxy cards, which have become increasingly difficult to administer and maintain. Gate Sentry offers a more efficient, streamlined, and modern alternative that aligns with our long‑term operational and security goals.

If the proposal is favoured, we intend to conduct a three‑month trial of the system alongside a new security team. This trial period will allow us to assess performance, resident experience, and efficiency improvements before any permanent implementation decisions are made.

We encourage all residents to participate in the consultation and contribute to shaping the future of our community’s security.

For an initial insite, please review the videos below:

Sentry Solo – Unguarded & Amenities Access

Sentry Solo is designed for locations without on‑site security personnel, providing streamlined access control for amenities, service gates, and other unguarded entry points.

It offers modern, app‑based entry management, replacing traditional proxy cards with a more reliable and easier‑to‑administer system.

Gate Sentry – Guarded Gate Access

Gate Sentry supports communities with staffed gatehouses, enabling guards to manage resident and visitor access more efficiently.

The system integrates digital passes, real‑time verification, and automated logging, reducing manual processes and improving throughput at the main entrance.

With a bespoke combination of both solutions we can purchase a Premium Package that can support both guarded and unguarded setup.

This illustrates the potential improvements in efficiency, reliability, and long‑term operational management compared with the current proxy‑card system.

Residents are encouraged to review both videos ahead of the consultation meeting to gain a clear understanding of the proposed solution.

We look forward to your participation in the consultation and appreciate your engagement in shaping the future of our community.

Frequently Asked Questions

For visitors and vendors, will the system save the ID's of the vendor and all travelling with them to account for all persons entering and exiting our community?

The system will only store in data for the duration that the resident allows.

Will there be maintenance fee increase to support this system?

Fees would only increase as a last resort. Our aim is to identify efficiency savings by reducing other costs where possible.

This will be discussed as part of the consultation and informed by the outcome of the trial period.

Is our current internet reliable and strong enough to maintain this new system?

We'll be sourcing an independent system specifically for the security gate, hoping to use starlink for reliability

In the event of natural disasters ie. A storm and we have no electricity or internet. What would be our backup plan for entry/exit to the community?

For emergency purpose we will have a solar backup system for both gates.
